The bella goby, scientific name Valencienna Bella, is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 80 gallons. They can grow up to 6” and can live up to 8 years. Bella sleeper gobies are omnivores and should be fed small pieces of frozen food such as brine or mysis shrimp. Sleeper gobies will pick sand up, clean and sift the sand through their gills back into the tank. Bella gobies can be kept singly or in mated pairs. Males can be differentiated by females by their black chin. Bella gobies are reef safe, they will not bother coral or invertebrates. They will be seen swimming throughout the tank throughout the day and will find caves to sleep in at night. Bella gobies are known for jumping and should have a tight fitting lid.
