The two spot goby, scientific name Signigobius Biocellatus is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 5 gallons. Two spot gobies can grow up to 3” and can live up to 2 years. Two spot gobies are omnivores and should be fed small pieces of frozen food such as brine shrimp, they will also pick at algae sheets if available. Two spot gobies are sand sifters, these gobies will pick sand up, clean and sift the sand through their gills back into the tank. Two spot gobies should be kept singly. Two spot gobies are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates. Two spot gobies will be seen swimming throughout the tank throughout the day and will find caves to sleep in at night. The two spot goby is also referred to as the crab eye goby.
