The brown clown goby, scientific name Gobidon Quinquestrigatus, is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 5 gallons. Brown clown gobies can grow up to 1 1/2” and can live up to 6 years. Brown clown gobies are carnivores and should be fed small pieces of frozen food such as brine shrimp or daphnia. Brown clown gobies can be kept alone or kept in pairs or groups with other clown gobies as long as there is adequate space. Brown clown gobies are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates. Clown gobies will often be seen “sitting” in different parts of the tank.
