The black clown goby, scientific name Gobidon Stangulatus, is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 5 gallons. Black clown gobies can grow up to 1 1/2” and can live up to 6 years. Black clown gobies are carnivores and should be fed small pieces of frozen food such as brine shrimp or daphnia. Black clown gobies can be kept alone or kept in pairs or groups with other clown gobies as long as there is adequate space. Black clown gobies are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates. Clown gobies will often be seen “sitting” in different parts of the tank.
