Tailspot blennies are omnivores and will eat algae found in the tank and will also eat frozen pieces of food it can fit into its mouth, like brine shrimp.  Tailspot blennies should be kept singly but can be kept with other blenny species. Blennies that are similar size and shape will normally fight because of food security, housing spaces or territorial issues. Tailspot blennies are reef safe, they will not bother coral or invertebrates. Tailspot blennies will find a place to hide themselves in the rocks and will be seen poking their head out of the rock. Once they are more comfortable, they will be seen swimming in the tank and also sitting on rocks/soft corals.
