Carpenter flasher fairys should be kept singly, in mated pairs or small herums with one male and multiple females. Keeping multiple of the same species requires adequate space and rockwork. Males will have long pointed dorsal and a large colourful anal fin while females will have a more rounded fin shape with less coloring. Carpenter flasher fairys can be kept with other fairies/wrasses. Carpenter flasher fairy wrasses are reef safe, they will not bother coral or invertebrates.
