The tiger sleeper goby, scientific name Valenciennea Wardi is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 30 gallons. Tiger sleeper gobies can grow up to 5” and can live up to 10 years. Tiger sleeper gobies are omnivores and should be fed small pieces of frozen food such as brine shrimp, they will also pick at algae sheets if available. Sleeper gobies will pick sand up, clean and sift the sand through their gills back into the tank. Tiger sleeper gobies can be kept singly or in pairs, if kept in pairs they should be introduced to the tank at the same time. Tiger sleeper gobies are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates. Tiger sleeper gobies will be seen swimming throughout the tank throughout the day and will find caves to sleep in at night. The tiger sleeper goby is also referred to as the wardi sleeper goby, the arabian sleeper goby or the tiger watchman goby.
