The triangle butterflyfish, scientific name Chaetodon Baronessa is a peaceful fish. Their minimum tank size is 80 gallons. Triangle butterflyfish can grow up to 6” and can live up to 7 years. Triangle butterflyfish are carnivores. In the wild triangle butterflyfish will eat coral so getting them to eat frozen can be difficult. Triangle butterflyfish can live alone, in pairs or small groups if there is adequate space. Butterflyfish are not coral safe but will not bother invertebrates. During the day they will swim out in the open and will hide in caves to sleep.
