These snails are from the Aplustridae family. They can grow up to a maximum size of 2”, due to their rarity their lifespan is still unknown. Lettuce bubble snails are omnivores that will often find food in the sand, eating worms, slugs and mussels. Their minimum tank size is 20 gallons, but they should be supplemented with food if there isn’t enough food in the tank. These snails are considered peaceful and are safe around all coral, they will also be safe with most invertebrates. Due to their diet keeping them around other snails/mollusks/clams should be done with caution. This snail is nocturnal and will stay buried in the sand for 12 hours a day.
