Pederson shrimp are a delicate and rare species rarely seen in the hobby. Their scientific name is Ancylomenes Pedersoni but they are most often called Pederson shrimp. They are also sometimes called the invisible shrimp, the ghost shrimp, or the Pederson cleaner shrimp. The Pederson shrimp is a part of the Palaemonidae family. Pederson shrimp are omnivores that will scavenge leftovers from around the tank. These shrimp have a minimum tank size of 5 gallons. Pederson shrimp are extremely peaceful and are reef safe. Due to their small and delicate nature Pederson shrimp should be kept with peaceful tank mates.
