The Kenya Tree is a pink leather coral, leathers are a soft coral. They are sometimes referred to as the “Cauliflower Soft Coral”. This is one of the best corals for beginners as they are one of the hardiest in the hobby. Kenya Trees do not require but will benefit from feedings of coral food (reef roids). They are considered semi-aggressive and should therefore have space between them and other corals. Kenya trees do not have sweeper polyps. They can be placed anywhere in the tank as long as there is moderate to high light and water flow.

When stressed the Kenya Tree will shrivel up and look rounded, when it is in proper conditions it will fluff out each branch with feather-like tips.
