The Yellow Goniopora is an LPS coral that has an expert care level. It is a bright yellow color and is often referred to as “Flowerpot Coral”, or “Sunflower Coral”, but is not the same as Alvepora. This coral will require feedings of coral food (reef roids) since it is not photosynthetic. Since it’s long swaying polyps extend far past its base it is considered an aggressive coral. Tank placement should be in the low to middle section of the tank and the lighting and water flow should be moderate.
