Frogspawn Coral Care Tips:
Common Name: Frogspawn
Category: LPS
Care Level: Intermediate
Temperament: Slightly Aggressive
Tank Placement: Low
Lighting: Moderate to High
Water flow: Low to Moderate
Colours: Pink and Green
The Frogspawn coral is a green and purple Euphyllia that is part of the LPS category. Their scientific name is Euphyllia Divisa. This coral has an intermediate care level and should be placed near the lower sections of the tank. Frogspawns require moderate to high lighting and a low to moderate flow.
This coral is considered slightly aggressive because of its long sweeping polyps. Multiple Euphyllia Divisa can be placed in a small area and will not harm each other. Due to the similar appearance between torches and anemones, clown fish have been known to attempt to host from torches. This can irritate the coral and prohibit full polyp extension.
